Strange, 2-3 foot, "cat-tail"ish, "tomato"like seed cluster

    Strange, 2-3 foot, "cat-tail"ish, "tomato&quo

    I live in the Pacific Northwest, renton, wa to be exact. I have never seen this before, it's about 2-3 feet tall and has a bundle of red, tiny tomato-like seeds on the top end... like a crazy sort of cat-tail. It's in my front yard. I have attatched some pictures.

    Wow,,that is an odd one. Are there any leaves or greenery on it? Did it come up in your flower garden?

    It looks like the berries of some type of Arum.

    Oh and all parts of the plant are poisonous if ingested and handling the plant can cause skin irritation.

    Maybe they are handsome, but if it is an Arum then they can be very invasive and not easy to remove.
