Would any one know how to get the seeds of a cockscomb plant? Mine must be a dwarf one it lays right on the ground.

Thank you Margie Stew Face 2

I have the "tall" ones. They start to drop their seeds when they look like they are dead. Each little piece of the flower is a seed. I just let them fall and in the Spring, I get THOUSANDS of new starts.

Oh I didn't know they came back next year, So just leave them and they will start new ones next year, That would be great.

Thank you Margie

Here's how they look when they go to seed.

I don't know for certain that they will come back for you up there. So, to be safe, I'd collect some of the seeds in case you need to replant them.
Hopefully someone in your zone knows more about that than I do.
