Was watering/checking on plants yesterday afternoon, when I noticed that my Passion Flower vine was being eaten up. I spotted at least 6 of these little fellars.
I think they are Gulf Fritillary? How long does it take for them to turn into butterflies? (I guess I could just look that up on the 'net!) Very Happy

Yep is sure is. My Passion Flower Vine was covered with them all thru the summer, they eat very well too.

Look for what appear to be dead brown curled up leaves hanging on the vine too, those could be the occupied pupa. They are one of the few cats that don't leave the host plant to pupate.
