|
The pianolady inspired penny ball is made. I cleaned a bowling ball up and put it on one end of the table and started working on a sandblast project. My husband came in and asked if HE could make the penny ball, so he did. The easiest thing I Never made. He knows exactly how many pennies went in it. Care to guess?

Looks good! I can't remember how many pennies it took, been too long. But, I'll guess $5.

I'll try $3.25 - I want to try this too, but haven't found a good used ball yet. Are they all Lincoln-up, or alternating?

Well, Polly came the closest. The penny ball has exactly 430 pennies in it and they are all heads up. My hubby threatened to put one on tails up (he thinks I'm a BIT of a perfectionist) but then he forgot. The bowling ball cost a dollar.

You run into bowling balls occasionally at Goodwill, if you have one where you live.
