I have a variegated peace lily at work that I took over four years ago for my boss. It was in sad shape. Now it is huge, flowers a lot, and has tons of new growth. But I found something really strange on it this week. At the end of the stem of a flower, a red bean looking thing is growing. Has anyone ever seen anything like this. I don't have a picture of it.

Yes, I've seen that before (I think) Razz If it's what I'm thinking, it may continue to grow and get kind of lumpy looking. I think it's some kind of seed pod. Very Happy

Not exactly. It is growing off to the side of where the flower was. It doesn't have any covering a the bottom like your picture. But it could be the same.
