Reds, dark greens, deep blues, more browns in different shades with a couple of the other colors used in accent pieces, even some shades of orange. It would also depend on what sort of feel you want in the room, bright and cheery, subdued and comfy. Do you have wall art or decorations that you will be hanging in there that you could draw colors from?
Wander thru the linen section of a department store or linen store and see what really catches your attention in color and pattern.

OK...I don't have anything else to draw from yet. I will be getting things piece by piece but right now the paint and the carpet is the only thing I have to draw from. I think I might stay away from brown. I really like green though. Seems like I can do just about anything dark. And yea, I'm shooting for comfy.

Green and brown being earth colors will make a very inviting room. Not an emerald green tho, that can be really bright. I was thinking a forest green and sage, maybe a pattern with two or three greens then accent with gold or barn red.
You should have a good time wandering thru a linen department somewhere.

I'd look at deep earthy tones. It will give a feeling of comfort and luxury.
