I love soy and mung beans, but have not ordered any from seed catalogs this year. What i'd rather do is find out if anyone has had experience with buying them in the veggie section of supermarket, and seeing if they'd germinate from fresh? I've done this with the roots of horseradish and ginger. Anyone try this?
If i could get them at supermarket, I could save the money for more exotic seeds
