Your pond looks amazing PL, really good job. How long did it take you to get just right and was much work involved? I love the way it is covered, who knows what secrets lie beneath

I love all those rocks and your bridge. Water gives gardening a whole new dimension

Thanks all. The plant in the waterfall are water hyacinth. Get them in a confined space and they'll go nuts, and work very well as a filter too. I'm starting to remove plants from the pond and giving them to neighbors, they've taken over!
This has been a DIY work in progress for 5-6 years now. This is the first year I've really not changed anything.

Thanks Gizmo, you should see my first attempts at ponding, they weren't very pretty! LOL...maybe I'll post my ponding disasters someday.
The yellow flowers by the bridge are black eyed susans (Rudbeckia).

Yes, 3 are koi and one is a goldfish I couldn't catch at the beginning of the season to relocate to the other pond, so it stayed. The smaller pond has 2 sarassa. I keep a light fish load, is so much easier that way.
