I'm not completely new to GardenStew, but I might as well be. I joined the site in 2008 when I started my first vegetable garden. In 2009 I became pregnant with our first baby, who is now a thriving 16-month-old boy.

My son is now old enough that I can garden and he can play outside and even "help" me. I'm excited to be back!

I'll go ahead and reintroduce myself. My name is Danielle and I live in Indiana. I am a proud mommy of a beautiful 16 month old, James. He is the absolute joy of my heart.

I am a teacher, but am only working part-time right now. I am an education assistant for a kindergarten boy with autism.

In my spare time I love to play with my son, read, knit, cook, and believe it or not, clean. My husband loves that cooking and cleaning are two of my hobbies. Wink

I'm excited to be back to gardening (when we get through this 1 1/2 inch layer of ice we're buried under) and back to GardenStew!

Hi there Danielle and a warm welcome back to GardenStew!! Congratulations on the birth of your son (even although he's now 16 months old.) I'm sure he'll grow up to love your garden as much as you do.

If you ever feel the urge to do some cooking and cleaning here in Scotland just give me shout. Wink

Welcome back Danielle,

While an ice pick isn't a garden tool it may be more appropriate for your 1 1/2 inches of winter. We can go along with the ground hog... spring is around the corner:-)

Some new people have come, and as a windfall - A few older member have returned as well. So this can only mean that GS is growing! Smile

Therefore on that account, let me also say Welcome back! Smile
