Who was hiding under the leaves - the zucchini or the young man? Just kidding - that should feed a large family all by itself.

Shocked I've never seen one that large before. Do they lose some flavor when they are big like that Question

There's only two uses for them at that size:
1) Compost
2) Drop from the top of a 40' silo.

In all seriousness, there's tons of uses, and they still taste fine. Not as good as the 8" size (imo), but still good for eating.

Good gracious, I see a whole lot of zucchini muffins and breads in your future. I have a really good recipe for the muffins if you need one.

You can split them lengthwise, scoop out the seeds, stuff them and bake them. Not bad at all.

Zucchini muffins do sound very tasty Toni. Do you just add your dough to muffin tins instead of loaf pans? DR I like your idea on how to eat them also!! yum!!

The funny thing is i dont even like zucchini, except for bread. We grated it up for bread. I have given them away to people who like to stuff them.
I think at the end of the year I'M just going to let one go and see how big it gets. And I'M going to see about entering them in the county fair next year, My veg garden seems to grow well for some one who grew up on the south side of chicago.

Yum - we usually either grate it for bread or slice in half and stuff with a bit of beef, rice and cheese and bake them. Mmm.

I have a zucchini avatar that this made me think of...
