Had 3 visitors to the bird feeder this morning. I have a shallow bowl that sets on the ground and I put cracked corn and sunflower seeds in it for the ground feeding birds. Mourning Doves, Juncos and Cardinals usually are in it. And squirrels eat out of it too. This morning we had big furry birds eating out of it. This Yearling Doe was the first to find it.
Then she decided to share with Mom.
They emptied in in about 3 minutes. I guess that's what the squirrels get for sleeping in. They will have to wait until tomorrow!

This set's about 10 ft from the front window.

What a wonderful breakfast surprise.
Bless you for feeding those cold critters.

Great close-ups CK. Those deer were obviously grateful for the extra food that you'd put out.

It's odd that the squirrels haven't been up all day!
