The weather was great today so the first bonfire of the season was in order. Once the fire was hot it was brats cooked over the fire. Add some chips and a great Friday night meal out side around the fire.

Tonight was fried eggs and toast for my husband - one of his favorites meals. I just ate a little of this and a little of that. Actually I ate a lot of junk food.

Somtimes you just can't beat breakfast for dinner. Having dinner at my sister tonight. Can't wait to see what it is.

We are having baked chicken marinated in a hawaiian fruit sauce, steamed rice, yellow squash sauteed in butter and a little sugar and iced tea to wash it all down! Oh I can't wait until supper!

With such a beautiful weather today, barbecue something will definitely be an option.

Beef stew, made with a chuck roast, and fresh dug potatoes and carrots from the garden, should be yummy.
Julie, I want the recipe for the fruit sauce, please.
