Okay, I have my pepper, tomato and Brassicas seeded and have read that I can move the the peppers and brassicas out to a protected cold-frame. My question: do I still need to suppliment the LIGHT for these when I move them? I live north and the amount of sunlight each day is not the 12-16hr recommended for young plants.

Hours? No. Intesity of sun vs flourescent bulbs, it'll be enough.

Perhaps too much if your cold frame is not vented.
