|
Toni sent me some irises last fall. I planted them among the roses. Only two of them bloomed this spring. This was the first. I didn't get a picture of the second one. It was purple.
I really liked this one.

I keep pulling the weeds out and hopefully they'll grow more and more will bloom next spring.

Gorgeous Dooley. Glad you got one of the purple ones too. They usually don't bloom until the second spring after being transplanted, so each year there will more and more blooms to enjoy.

Glad your's finally bloomed Dooley. The one's I got from Toni were the "first blooms" in my new place. They are so bright and cheerful... why oh why can't they last year 'round?
