    Hello everyone,

I found these forums when trying to ID a plant that my wife and I saw. You seem like a really knowledgeable group of folks, and hopefully you can help me out.

This plant was growing in the landscaping outside a mall here in Southern California. We spotted it at lunch, and thought that it might make a nice addition to our garden at home. I went back with a camera to take a couple pics.

The flowers are about an inch across, and the whole patch was about eight feet in diameter.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Bacopa is the flower in the picture. We use it in hanging baskets and planters in our region. It doesn't survive out harsh winters, so I don't know if it would be an annual for your climate or not, but I would think so. I grew it easily from seed this year.
