    Euphorbia.
We would have to see the blooms to know which one for sure.

    Two possibilities:

    Euphorbia lathyris

    Euphorbia donii 'Amjilassa'

I don't know the proper name but my neighbor refers to it as "Gopher Plant". She swears it keeps the gophers away ( I think she's right :p ) She also told me it is very poisonous

I'm going with Euphorbia lathyris it's blooms are green the Euphorbia donii 'Amjilassa' has yellow blooms.

Common names again....Euphorbia lathyris is also called Mole Plant
whereas Gopher Plant is a common name for Euphorbia rigida which also has yellow blooms.

I am working on learning the latin names more and more because of some of the confusion with common names

I keep these religiously pulled out of my garden as I consider them unwanted weeds...but every year I find a hand full--no doubt deposited from birds, as I remove the ones in my garden before they have a chance to flower.

Be careful you don't drop any seeds. ;)

LOL... I deliberately let the seeds drop and I haven't had any seedlings this spring. to me it looks cool...as a plant.
