I just did a google search and you are right digital flower, that is exactly what it is. It is hardy in zones 9b-11, not native to the United States and can be used as a container plant. In the ground it will get 15-20 ft tall, but can be kept trimmed to any size.

It must just be used as a summer plant in Philadelphia because they get snow in winter. Dooley
