We received just over 1" of rain yesterday, and the pond is overflowing and we have standing water in the driveways and the front flower bed. Fortunately, the overnight temperatures didn't go below freezing.
Today is the day our cat goes to the vet to get her yearly shots. It's always a struggle to get our cat back--the vet is overly fond of her! How many folks have a veterinarian that says "Woo woo, you're so pretty" and cuddles a pet. Feliz eats up the attention because she so rarely gets any at home ;) .

Good afternoon all! I am still getting over a looong day of travel yesterday so apologies if I misspell a word or two. I missed an entire day of Stewing yesterday and I won't do it again in a hurry!

    Somehow I doubt that :D

Have a great Saturday ahead all!

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -3°C and overcast. There was a very light dusting of snow overnight, just enough to make walking on the icy driveway and road a dangerous event. I made it back without actually falling , but just barely. Off to skating shortly with my youngest. Have a great day all :)

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -15°C and sunny. I slept in! That is rare, but I'm enjoying a hot mug of coffee and looking for new recipes. Have a great day all :)

It's sunny here today. It was sunny yesterday so we went out for the day to enjoy it. Today, maybe it will be an outside day to clean up some more winter.

Oh, good morning, everyone. Enjoy the sunny day with me!

Good morning all. Went down to Randy's folks yesterday for an early celebration of his Dad's 81st birthday. Bright sunny day but a little chilly...it is January afterall so chilly is very acceptable. Today I think will be a sit at home and do not much of anything day.....except laundry, there is always laundry to do

Got mid-70 degree days coming this week :'( but I have ideas for garden projects to get accomplished before summer so I guess that's okay....in January

Happy Sunday morning! Yesterday was super gorgeous. All sun and temps in the upper 60s. I got a few things done around here, but mostly just goofed off. The ground is still so soggy from the recent 2.5 inches of rain, so I couldn't get much done in the flower beds.
I did wash my truck because today I'm taking my best friend out to eat for her birthday. I hope she decides that she wants to go down to the coast because it is another pretty day. Not a cloud in the sky and temps will be in the lower 70s.

Good Monday morning all. Currently -17°C and clear. An odd wind, from the south east, is blowing lightly and making it feel much colder. I hope to get my bedroom cleaned out today, so much 'stuff' is gathering in there. Have a great day all :)

Happy Monday Morning. Back to work after a gorgeous weekend. And this trend will continue throughout the week. Temps today mid 40s to upper 60s and nothing but sunshine!
Hope everyone on the NE Coast stay safe through that blizzard.

good Wednesday morning all. Currently -20°C and sunny. I was watching out my window yesterday and noticed the neighbors dog out the back fields, when all of a sudden he came running towards home with 2 coyotes in hot pursuit! I yelled out the window ending the chase, but let me tell you it was a close one! It's mating season for the coyote and so they are a little more aggressive then usual. I told the neighbour about it so I hope they keep an eye on their dog and barn cats. Today I'm back on clean up mode. Have a great day all :)

Happy Wednesday morning. Looks like we're going to have another gorgeous day today with temps from mid 40s to mid 70s. And here I am stuck in the office. :'(
We're getting an office pool started for the Super Bowl... gotta have some reason to be interested in the game. 8)

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -5°C with strong south east winds. Weather Man says the winds will change to west, and then north west and snow will start falling later today. I am off to do my errands and shopping. Have a great day all :)

Happy Thursday morning. Another foggy morning, only delayed my commute by half an hour though as it burns off rather quickly. Temps are from mid 50s to low 70s today. But cooling off tomorrow with rain moving back in for the weekend. Boo!!!!!!
I have so much I need to do in the yard and just as things dry up enough to get out there, here it comes again!

Good morning all. 61 deg and going up to around 70 this afternoon. The temp hit 80 deg yesterday, The rain chances for this weekend are slowly being taken away from me but more seasonal temps will hang around for a day or two.

Had my quarterly oncologist visit yesterday, all my lab results are so good he is changing my schedule from every three months to every four months.
