Tall purple flowers. What plant is this?

    I grew lots from seed. I can't remember what kind of plant this is. It smells great!

    It looks like a Verbena to me....perhaps Verbena hastata.

    I checked my seed starting notes and I did sow some Anise Hyssop. Thought they all died. Now I can label my seeds correctly for trading. Boy they smell good.

    I enjoyed growing this in my garden too. It does smell good, and the bees love it.

    Yup I have it planted in my garden for the butterflies and it sure does smell great. If you chew on the leaves they taste like licorice. Yummm.
