Hi , I am planning a wedding for my Neice this summer and we want to include Hydranga in our flower Arrangements. I realize it's better to use a "drier late summer Hydranga flower" but we love the look of the "just blooming" Hydranga. We notice it wilts right away in a arrangement. Is there anything I can do to keep a "fresh" Hydranga from wilting in the arrangement ?
THANKS [/b]

Hi Sherri,
Yes, they do wilt a lot from fresh. Someone told me that spraying them with a mixture of water & a little glucose keeps them looking fresh. However, it might be an old wives tale as I've never tried it.

This is all I can think of though.
Maybe your local nursery can give some tips Question

Cheers
Craig
