I've bought lots of nice plants at huge discounts but I think my favourite bargain is this one, the Itoh-hybrid Paeonia Yellow Crown:

It's generally very expensive but it was priced as a normal Paeonia. Laughing I know the nursery discovered their mistake a couple of days later but then I had bought two already.

Birdhouse of succulents ( photo / image / picture from kathyd's Garden )

I dug out an old post of mine to add today's find at a Lowe's store...this darling wood birdhouse, with some raggedy succulents on the top. I think by spring the succulents will revive, and I can propagate them too. The planter was originally 14.98 and I snatched it up at 1.00. Happy New Year!

My pretty pink hibiscus is about my best bargain. What I thought was 1 plant in a 6 inch pot turned out to be 5! I carefully teased them apart & all 5 are doing well.

Droopy,That yellow peony probably would have been a bargain at twice the price. It is something I would love in my garden. I've not seen them around here.
