Thanks Jane, Thats what I was wondering. I tried to dry some in the dehydrator.....needless to say I thought that was a fail. It's finer than dill and weighs even less.

Carolyn, I would have loved to find something to do with fennel, but the one time I planted it, something (bunnies I think) ate it down to a nub.

Kathy, butterfly (swallowtail) caterpillars will eat fennel down to the ground. I had three different growths of fronds one year--the first two were eaten to within an inch of the ground, and the third was pretty well defoliated. Bunnies are cute, but butterflies are better!
