Last year.

Year before.

This year they were tall and looked great until we got six inches of snow and flatened them to the ground. They are blooming but they don't like very good. I will get seeds from them though.

Don, They are so beautiful. I guess I am going to have to do something like that next year because I simply love it.

Roll on next year so that you can enjoy those beautiful asters again Don. What a pity the snow cut their flowering time short for you this year though.

What an eye-full of color! The asters I planted this spring didn't do a thing. After looking at your beauties, I WILL try again.

Your asters are lovely. I wonder why I haven't gotten round to getting some. I always think I must but then I forget about it until it's too late. Rolling Eyes I'm sorry about your snow ruining them.

I think the wind sows most of them.

Nice Pic's. I see them growing by the side of the road in the fall once in awhile but never so many.

Ohhh Don I love asters. Those are beautiful. We have wild ones that are a lavender color and some that are pink. They come up in new places every year.
I had tried to grow them at our old home and the rabbits would always eat them. I guess that there are just to many out here for the rabbits to eat them all. Again, those are really nice. Stew Face 1
