We were just out cutting off the long stems of our yucca and I wondered if they can be started from the seeds that are in the numerous pods on them. If so, what do I need to do?

I have had good luck starting them from seed. Just let the seeds fall where you don't want them and you'll likely have a few sprouting up next spring.
