This summer, I picked some seeds off of this plant:

I thought it was a beautiful plant to try to grow. It is about 8-12 inches high more or less and has thin leaves. I found it in Georgia's coastal plain which is fairly dry and sandy. I recently started the seeds in a small greenhouse pot thingy that I have made.

They germinated in about 2 weeks. They are still very small as you can see.

Any help on this pretty flower would be great.

That helps a lot, thanks! I don't think it's Phlox drummondii because the leaves are thinner than those and the flower is not quite right. It looks more like Phlox glaberrima or possibly a cross between P. glaberrima and P. amoena.

After much searching, I think it could be some color variation of Phlox paniculata.

I have one left, the rest died pretty quickly. I think I didn't give them enough light. I hope the last one is going to make it otherwise I'm going to have to wait until august to get some more seeds and try again.

I have some seedlings that are struggling a bit. So I added another grow light in hopes that would help them out. Do you use a flourescent/tube light? Or regular light-bulb type?
