We had to have one of our Viszla put to sleep.Taz was 15 last month. And couldn't be in house anymore. We have big outdoor kennel with shingled roof, heated water, heated mats. But cold temps -she would cry was lonely. And back legs started going out-very thin. And vet who put Taz to sleep. He and his Son have 2 of her pups.We are still getting call from all over if we still raise Viszla. Use to have 4 females. Only let them have 2 litters. Didn't want to be puppy mill. Ginger only one we have left. Her Daddy USA Field Trial Champ.

Extra hard on Jerry. He walked them daily. And one of the guys who bought a puppy. He took his Viszla all over USA to inspect train wrecks. So started getting many calls. Jerry a very good dog trainer.

The last best thing we can do for our beloved pets is to know when to let them go. I'm so sorry you lost Taz, but she had a great life, good friends (who ever really "owns" a dog?) and then went to sleep.

I feel for you. It's so hard to loose our furry friends. You did the right thing, but I know it's a small comfort. Please keep the good memories in your heart.

My sincere condolances Kosta as I know just how you must be feeling at the moment. You did the right thing for Taz and now she's at peace. In time, you'll remember her with a smile but, until then, you have my deepest sympathy.

Jerry tried finding a pup a year ago-with Rebel Rouser back-ground. Found one $3200. Way out of our price range. But he got a yellow lab last year. Not use to dog as big as small pony. Her name is Sandy- Jerry dog was that name. And will be his last.Glad he's a big guy lot to handle. But his good training make a lady out of her. Laughing
