I have found that pets give us the emotional support and interest in getting up in the morning that few other beings can. I had a friend, a little vague (maybe that's why we were friends), that phoned me one morning to ask if I had seen any Jack Daniels. I thought it was a little early to be drinking, but told her that I did have some sherry. Turns out her neighbors Jack Russell had escaped again and they were trying to locate him! Your pets/children/friends are very good looking. Take after their parents, do they?
What a great looking pair of companions and friends you have there. I miss having a dog in the house but am so glad I can share everyone's here.
Some of my earliest memories are of our dogs. Popeye and Skippy where the first that I remember. Then there was Snoopy and Mimi... and the list goes on and on... and now we have Sassy Marie. I just love dogs and can't picture myself without one of them in my family. Those two look full of "character"!
