Oh, yes, I'd love, love an active greenhouse forum. I've had a greenhouse that I heat in the winter for 40+
    years.
When I first started I thought I'd put all my house plants out there. It was a curved eave, glass to ground, facing south. My house plants did not like all that sun!It was a tad chilly at night, too. So,I started reading the few greenhouse books to see what would do well out there. What a shame no internet back then.I
remember pouring over the Thompson & Morgan catalog which would list winter flowering plants for a greenhouse.I ordered lots of seeds & had quite a lot of fun growing some plants from seed.

This was my first greenhouse.I didn't keep it too long because it was an energy hog! Another time I will tell about my next one & what I had in it.

Hi guys, I think having a greenhouse forum is a good idea so there is one now started here: Greenhouse forum (a sub-forum of the Gardening Other forum). I've moved some of the older greenhouse-related topics in there so there is already some reading. Thanks for the suggestion Donna.
