Thanks for the explanation Sharon. Very Happy Maybe I should let my MIL chew on a leaf or two of that plant when she starts her complaining about everyone and everything!!!!! Razz

I have a very similar plant between my livingroom and diningroom Frank but I don't think it's the same one. Here's a piccie of it anyway:

Many years ago there was an episode of the TV show Emergency, where a wife had gotten fed up with her husband complaining about everything she did that she put some of the Dieffenbachia sap in his coffee so she could have some peace and quiet.
