|
This pork roast done in a slow cooker. Sear the roast in a skillet, just enough to turn it a little brown. Put slices in the top of it and rub salt, pepper and garlic salt into the top. In the cooker, put in one slice of onion, with the rings seperated and spread out on the bottom. Put in one tablespoon of soy sauce. Ad a little water to just cover the onions. Put meat in and cover. Cook on high for 1 hour. Then lower the temp. to low. Cook on low for 5 hrs. I usually start it at noon and we eat at 6 pm. The meat will be fall apart tender and oh so good. I do beef roast the same way, except I leave out the garlic and soy sauce.

I was thinking of doing a Pork roast the weekend my son visits me. I will try this one, certainly sounds good. Do you serve apple sauce with it?
Maggie
