i have a couple questions for a couple of my rooms in my home...
Do floral drapes go with floral furniture?
what colors go well with pastel yellow? besides white?
also what pastel colrs go with a lite coral?
any ideas would be apprecaited...

You can mix a lots of patterns if that is the style you want. That is somewhat a british thing and I don't see people doing that often around here. If you want a bit more calm atmosphere, I suggest you go with plain curtains, but you can match for example two plain fabrics together. You can pick up the colours from your furniture and put the curtains next to eachother or partly overlapping.

As I mentioned in kitchen topic, light blues and lavender/lilacs work well with light yellow, creating a very soft and romantic look. Also bright orange and dark pinks work very well, making the style a bit more bold. You might also want to try something different, and go more into greens/turquoises, they work well with yellow if it's light enough. Here's some pictures to inspire you Mr. Green
