Had a day in and out today. Tidied the greenhouse and sorted out all of the chilli plants. Then had a little potter all around. Everything is still so lush thanks to the masses of rain we have had over the last couple of weeks.

EJ do you know the name of that lovlely fuschia bush you have and can you tell me if it's totally hardy or not?
I really like the single flowered fuschias although I have plenty of double flowered ones too. I find that the bigger the flower the heavier they are and therefore they drop from the plant within days whereas the ones like yours last for ages.

I have no idea of it's name Eileen, it was a cutting from my grandads plant. It has been in my garden for 3 years, and is totally hardy, the same for grandad. It dies back in the winter, the early spring it is smothered in lovely new green buds and grows like the clappers. I will happily take some cuttings and see if I can get them to strike for you - I did some tender fuschias today. Smile
