Your area looks very lovely! Yep... gonna have to do something about those darn pipes. :-D I had almost the same problem. Here's I "covered" mine up. "water" bed complete ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) This is how it's looking now. Wave Petunia w/Crinum ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) And had an electrical outlet sticking up here. I used an old nail keg to cover it up. Keg Planted ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) A wishing well sounds pretty neat... you'll just have to make sure the water dept. knows that you've covered it up.
I wanted to do something like that. But has meter in the pit. They read it all the way from highway. In winter had guy driving his snow mobile through yard about hit it. We put snow fence to stop that.
