I recently got a peperomia magnoliifolia. I went through the house and gave a little fertilizer to my plants including this guy. I realize now since it's new it's probably loaded down with food and good soil already. It's lost at least half it's leaves now. My question is should I do something, change the soil? Or just leave it alone for awhile and let it recover on its own.

I wouldn't re-pot it at this time. That may make matters worse. Has it been moved to a new location? It should be in a spot that is a minimum 50F. Also, leaves may fall if they have been allowed to wilt before watering. (Water when potting mix is dryish, but leaves are not wilted.)
Just a few thoughts...
