Help please!! I don't know if now is the time to divide my grape hyacinths or not!! I've heard now is the time but I want to make sure before I go out and start digging them up!! Any help is greatly appreciated!! Also I've never divided my daffodils, so should I do that now too?

Hm, I have grape hyacinth that have been growing and spreading for 15 years and I've never divided them. And my daffodils were dug up from the old family homestead where they had happily reproduced all over the place. Actually, the only plant I've ever tried to divide faded quickly into the sunset never to be heard from again!

Thanks Eileen and Critter!! They really have not done anything but send up foliage the past few years so I think I will try to divide them and since now is the time hopefully in the morning I'll be able to get some gardening done!! Then maybe just maybe(finger crossed!!) I'll get some blooms in the Spring!!!

I guess I should dig my hyacinth and divide it to another spot in the yard. It keeps getting ran over by the lawn mower. Wannabe
