Smile Almost certainly a member of the Amaryllis group,
it resembles my Crinums, and your description of the seed head sounds right, too.

WOW what a link.
does anyone have this? would like to know when i can expect it to bloom.
probably not relevant cause i live in a place with a long winter and it's in a pot anyway.
all i can do is offer it a bigger container.
THANKS,
Calin
