First time growing them on the allotment. To be honest, getting the darn things to germinate was the biggest problem. They seem a little fragile compared to pumpkins which seem tough as old boots! I have a few more on the vine, so we should be enjoying melons for a few more week!!

Oh boy EJ I wish I'd been there to have a taste. Looks soooooo much better than even the orgainic ones you buy in the shops. Is there anything that you can't grow? Scrub that - there isn't!!!
