hey peoples!

I would like to get your opinion on some of my work! Please be honest. I am trying to sell them and I don't want to be selling crap basically. Cant wait to hear what you think.

I'm also open to any suggestions on what i should make more of, colors, what i should try, what i should stay away from!

Hi,
Your crocheting looks good to me, I especially like that first scarve out of the fuzzy yarn. My Mother-in-law sells her crocheted afghans and hats to people in her town that hear about her work and does pretty well.
I knit, haven't crocheted in over 20 years, but can't keep up with knitting the things I want to give away so haven't tried selling any of them yet.

With scarves you can go with just about any color in worsted yarn or the fuzzy yarns. Bright colors and unusual yarns can put the wearer in a cheery mood on a dark, cold winter day.

If you need patterns for free (best way to get them)
try these two websites.

I like the cushion covers - especially the black and orange one!! They would look terrific on a cream or white suite. My mother used to crochet handbags, childrens toys, dresses, blankets etc. She didn't always use wool though sometimes it was string or silks. I love crochet work and just wish I had the knack of doing it. Sad

Disclaimer: I have no idea how complicated crocheting is Rolling Eyes.

I doubt that crocheting will ever become one of my hobbies but they look impressive to me Ali. The cushion caught my eye as well. I see a lot of white scarves here in Sweden, somewhat of a trend.

Great work

I am super impressed!! Great work. Both my grandmother and my mother tried to teach me. I was too clumsy and it took too long for this impatient child. Your result makes all the work worth it.

I love the scarfs! I can only crochet patches, round and round. Mum crocheted me a dress which is very 60's. She is a dab hand with crafts. I reakon you would sell them all no problems! Keep posting pics of your work, it is great to see!

Great work my mother , aunts , grandmother and sister were all crocheters so I have seen quite a bit. Belive me yours are good enough to sell just don't sell them too cheap as I know the work it takes.

Richard is right. So many artists undervalue their work.

Your work looks very good. I use to do some crocheting and a little knitting. It's been a few years. I'd have to get a book out and look up some the stitches now.

I would wear any of those scarves especially if you did a matching hat! My favourite is the brown fuzzy one.
