    Hi,
I was hoping someone could tell me if I could save storebought springtime and summer flower seeds for next season. If I can save them, how should I go about storing them.

    Thanks!

Seeds can be saved for several years but each year the germination rate is less. I put mine, still in the paper packet into a ziplock bag. They all go into a box and onto the gardenshed shelf. They need to be in a dry place but it doesn't seem to matter if it's cold. Dooley

I keep all my seeds in ziplocs in the freezer. They get a nice rest and no varmints can get to them. 8)

I have mine in a shoe box in the cool and dark. You can keep them in the veggie cooler box in the bottom of the fridge, but mine is always full of veggies! I think cool is the key.

I have a BIG cake container that I keep my seeds for next year in. As others have said they need to rest so keeping them cold is a good idea as long as they're dry.

I think dry and cool is also the way to go.
