Saute 2 pounds ground meat and l chopped large onion,
drain and put into crock pot
Add, 2 cans Ranch Style Beans (or kidney beans)with liquid
1 can tomatoes (or tomato sauce)
1 can Rotel tomatoes with green chilies
2 cans Hominy (or whole kernel corn) with liquid
1 package dry Taco seasoning mix
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch Dip mix

You might need to add a little water. Cook in crock pot on low for 4-6 hours.

The aroma will have you starving by the time it is ready to eat. Serve with cornbread, crackers or bread of your choice.

This freezers really well and gets better with age.

Oh yummy Toni -- I love that soup. I usually use a can of kernel corn instead of hominy. I love homemade soup and when the weather is cooler I will be making some. You're right it freezes well and is so nice to have on hand for a cold night.
