Caught me on a bad day. Trying to get rid of a neighbours cat from the garden. It keeps killing my 'babies' and now the birds are being put off visiting. Every time I stop it coming in at one place it finds another. Wonder if buying a shotgun would help!!!!

Hey wait,
I remember someone saying it was a good idea to have a cut running round to keep away the birds so they cant eat my lawn seeds.
I have been encouraging next doors cats for the last week or two.
Is this a bad thing?
What methods do you all use to keep the pests out of your gardens?

Murray I don't consider the birds to be pests just this great ginger cat!!!! The birds won't take all your seed, don't worry. The cats will crap everywhere, kill your birds and leave the feathers (and other 'bits') all over your garden. They also like to bury some of their kills - ugh - nothing worse than finding a maggot ridden bird or mouse when you're digging over your borders!!! If they urinate (especially Toms) on your plants they'll kill them. Give me a few birds any day!!!
Grrrr I hate my neighbours cats!!!
OK, I know, I'll get off the soapbox now and shut the door quietly on my way out.

Super sonic sound devices - what do I think - truthfully? A complete waste of money!! They get a lot of hype but they make virtually no difference worth mentioning.
Buy a Great Dane instead - it'll eat the neighbours cats with any luck.
Frank!!!!!!!
