This is just opening now. At first it was all chartreuse but then the blue flowers started coming out. Now I'm in love!
This Alocasia looks great now but comes in my house kicking and screaming about how cold I keep it.
I hunted around this year to find some mixed color cypress vines. I only had red. Come to find out- red is still the prettiest.
My Jerusalem artichokes were gone for several years but have reappeared. I know it is them as they are very late bloomers and smell like chocolate. I'm glad to have them back.
My bench looks good at any time of year.
My silver lace vine is in full bloom right now. I recommend this vine for anyone. It is polite in habit.
Everything going well here.

If I ever came to your part of Tennessee I'd be begging you for a garden tour. Thanks for the silver lace pic. We planted one that is just great for its spot. It is doing so much more than we expected. We had forgotten the name until I saw yours.

Oh Bethie, I love your bench and arbor. I would never get anything done inside with a place like that calling me out to sit and enjoy.
I have the red cypress vine, have never seen the tricolor...that one is pretty, but I like the red better too.

My jerusalem artichoke has almost finished blooming, I think. I counted over two hundred flowers on one plant. Amazing! I like your garden too. Dooley

Bethie do you have room for an 'old' gnome with worn shoes who wants to rest on that bench. I promise I won't outstay my welcome
But seriously everything looks fantastic. The Alocasia looks like an assortment of very strange dishes.
