    Looks like a daylily from here, daylilies have a noticeable rib down the middle of the back of the leaf, has something been munching on it?

    Maybe lariope. It is a grass like mounding spreading ground cover. usually bearing a spike of blue flowers followed by a spike of single black berries up the stem. once it is established it is hard to get rid of if you change your mind, but it is drought resistant and very hardy.

    Does lariope leaves always have a white border? Mine doesn't. It is pretty hard leaves unlike the day lilies I have. That's why the confusion.

    There is a variegated form.
