Hello! I have been having trouble with my willow for the past year, first it was rust (got spindly, lost branches), and so I got the copper mixture and applied it, it helped some, then I was told to put a systemic on it for borers that I found on a large branch that broke off, and I applied it to the roots about a month ago, and then it needed watering, so I watered deep for about a week. Now, all of a sudden, it started yellowing severely. I hope you can see it in my pict. I don't want to have to take it out...

I wonder if your willow could be suffering from Watermark disease Rena or maybe it just didn't like so much water all at once? I'm no tree expert I'm afraid so maybe someone else can help you out more with your problem. I'll keep my fingers crossed that your tree recovers and you find out what is making it so ill.

    Rena,

What kind of soil is it in? Was it a potted willow before you planted it? It's hard to say without knowing more about it.
