have a coon that scared the bee jeebers out of me the other evening in my fenced in yard he was after my chicks he ran when I started clapping my hands and yelling lol
Donna, be careful since 'coons are terrible predators of chickens. Our neighbor lost her entire flock to a raccoon--didn't eat them, just killed them and dismembered several. If possible, trap the varmint. And you be careful, too. A cornered 'coon can be vicious.
oh I know I used to raise coons that were orphaned I gave him wide berth to get out been here a year and all I have seen is rabbits till now
Let's hope you scared him enough for him to move on to pastures new. Fingers crossed your chicks will be safe from now on.
We had trouble last year with coons. All over. Friend came home to insulation all over her kitchen . One had torn hole in new roof .fish oil in better soil. Turn over my smaller flower pots,
