A friend dug up some hydranga plants for me this weekend, I let the roots soak in a bucket of water for 24 hours. The next day, I dug up a spot under a huge oak tree, mixed peat moss and bone meal with a little garden soil and then water them....But this morning they are still a bit droppy. Should I just keep watering them every day or give up?

Don't give up on them as I'm sure they'll be fine in a few days. Smile When a plant is lifted it gives it a bit of a 'shock' and it takes a while to recover. You've done all the right things so keep watering!! Very Happy

I have a hydranga and I would like to know if you suppose to cut it down to the ground at the end of the fall before winter?
