Just a few of the things in the garden with lovely colourful berries.

Pyrocantha.

The 'blue', on the right, is one of my eucalyptus trees and just below some bamboo as well.

Cotoneaster.

Honeysuckle.

Callicarpa

Even although most of the colourful summer flowers are fading or gone there is always something to draw your eye at this time of year. Very Happy

Don't get too close to that pyracantha. It bites big time. Beautiful, tho, all of them.

I always really liked the Cotoneaster, very popular around my parts in Ireland. It is nice to still see some colour in the garden.

Which is your favourite Eileen?

Jan why do you think that pyrocantha is stuck away at the back of the garden in a corner? Yes that's right to stop us and our clothes being shredded!!! The birds can enjoy the berries in peace there too.

Frank - for colour - my favourite is the Callicarpa.
The berries are actually far more purple than shows up in the photograph. It's only a few months old at the moment so next year it should have lots and lots of berries on it. Very Happy

I love the Callicarpa with the purple berries. I have two cotoneasters but they are no where near that size. They don't seem to grow much and I have trouble with grass always growing up through them.

Birds must love your place! My husband gripes about mowing near the pyracanthas but the mockingbirds love them. Beautyberry is such a beautiful color. I had to cut a lot of branches off mine because the berries were breaking them down. That's a good problem to have.

Beautiful pics. what strikes me the most are the Pyrocantha and the Cotoneaster. their berries make a beautiful contrast to their green leaves. Smile

You do have a lot of nice plants to draw the eye Eileen. Eucalyptus is such a great smell too.
Autumn is my favorite time of year up north, so many beautiful colors. I'll have to see what grows around here so I can add color to my yard. I do have to say this is the first year I've really been into my gardening and it's everyone's fault at GardenStew. Thanks for that don't know what I would do with at u guys.

The American Beauty bushes grow wild here!! They are soooo beautiful when they are covered in their pretty little berries!! I have one I transplanted into my flower garden.
