Beats me.
Just 45 mins from here are some lizards 3 times the size. I'll have my hubby take some pics for me.

I don't think I would have spotted that guy unless he was moving. I wish we had lizards around here
Nice photo Giz!

Lizards here run from you. If u get it by the tail ,it comes off and moves for awhile. Lizard grow back another one. Good thing too the cats keep taking them off .

Love your lizard. We have them by the hundreds here in New Orleans. Occasionally we find a dessicated one in a sock drawer.

We have geckos by the dozens in our yard. I love to see them around, that means the bug population is being kept under control.
The summer Amanda was 11 we were having a pretty long drought situation, they started coming into the house.
Amanda woke up one night to find one on her bedroom wall, she woke me up wanting to know what to do with it. I told her to give it a name, tell it goodnight and go back to sleep. She named it Charmander after her favorite Pokemon character. She saw him around for a couple of years then he stopped showing up.

Tel this day I don't know how she got them past me. Using Dixie cups to put them in and then putting another cup on top to keep them from getting out. She wasn't to good with pets either giving her fish her baby blanket to keep them warm.

To funny. That reminds me of my son Kevin. My dad game him a baby catfish .It was in a fish bowl doing so good .One morning we got up and it was floating upside down in the bowl dead.I ask Kevin (2 1/2 at the time)did you feed the kitty fish (as he called it) He replied Kittyfish eats Kitty food.He also had give him Dr Pepper to wash it down. What kids wont do.
