Star Magnolia

    My daughters Star Magnolia is doing fine in our front yard.

    I learn this year that they can be forced. I took a few cuttings a few days ago.

    It is a flower bud. I am so excited.

    ....I am too! Those are very pretty flowers when they are blooming. It won't be long now.

    My Magnolia is also putting out its first flower buds despite the cold weather. I love to see them opening up as they are so beautiful.

    Wow. This has happened in just a few hours. When they say forced blooms happen fast, they really mean it...

    In less than an hour. It's almost in full bloom. This is fun. How beautiful. My daughter would love this.

    That was fun. All this happened form a cutting
    that I brought into my house and put in a glass of water.

    That has such a subtle beauty, Ware.
    I would also be remiss if I did not compliment your home...or at least the wall that is visible behind your lovely magnolia.
    It looks quite attractive and cosy at the same time.
