Dr took pictures of the asparagus in the garden on Friday. I think the golden color and lacy branches are beautiful. Maybe more so in real life. Dooley

Thanks! I was having trouble with Adobe and Photobucket. Getting them to load all three pictures. I think I'm having trouble with my firewall. I'll have to have Dan look at it. Dooley

No, it's spring asparagus that you don't cut. It spreads. I started with two plants and this past spring we had almost 20. You quit cutting it and the top absorbs the sun all summer and feeds the roots. Next spring I should have about double the amount. It's just that it's turns this golden color in fall. I almost would grow it for the lacy leaves and fall color. Dooley

I would grow it in my garden Dooley just because it's soooo beautiful. Thanks for taking the time to let us share your burst of colour with you.

It needs a close up of the lacy leaves. It looks much better in a larger picture. Dooley
